After an initial consultation call, you'll complete an intake form to clarify your big-picture goals and aspirations. In our first few sessions, we’ll introduce foundational somatic practices and refine your personal goals—what we refer to as declarations in somatic coaching. During this time, we’ll also begin exploring your unique somatic shaping and conditioned patterns, identifying the tendencies that influence how you engage with life.
These declarations stem from your deepest longings and desires—what truly matters most to you. Together, we will craft a clear declaration, such as, “I want to live with more authenticity and presence,” or, “I want to cultivate inner peace and resilience.” This declaration becomes the foundation of our work, guiding each session as we move toward what you care about most.
Moving forward, each session will incorporate somatic interventions, the somatic change process, and specialized practices for you to explore between sessions. While weekly sessions are ideal for maintaining momentum and fostering deep transformation, we can adjust to a bi-weekly schedule if needed. Our work is flexible to meet your life’s demands, and we will regularly assess your progress to ensure you're moving toward meaningful change..

No prior experience in somatic practices is necessary. Somatic Coaching is accessible to everyone. The focus is on your unique body and its responses. However, in order to do somatic work, there needs to be an openness to work with the body.

While Somatic Coaching can be deeply therapeutic, it is not a replacement for therapy. Coaching focuses on growth, future-oriented goals, and self-awareness, while therapy often addresses past traumas, mental health conditions, and emotional healing. If deeper trauma work is needed, we may collaborate with a therapist to support your healing journey.

It’s common for people to fall on either end of the spectrum when it comes to sensing their body—some may feel overwhelmed by emotions or sensations, while others may feel disconnected or numb. Both experiences are normal, and neither will make somatic work difficult. Somatic Coaching is about meeting you where you are. If you feel too much, we’ll work together to gently regulate and find safety in the sensations. If you feel too little, we’ll patiently build awareness and connection over time. The process is gradual, and you’ll learn to trust your body’s capacity to heal, whether your initial experience is one of overwhelm or disconnection.
